Play It Again, Sam
In over my head, and it’s only the first day of the quarter. Why do I keep doing this to myself? (Answer: Because if I don’t do what needs to be done, who will?)
Luckily, the car search is over. I found a great deal on a used-but-certified 2001 Toyota Prius , and I’m totally in love. It’s a blast to drive, I’m currently getting 55-60 miles to the gallon, and I get the freedom of having a car in California. Hybrids are the wave of the future, and I’m proud to be an early-adopter .
I’ve got a trillion things just *looming* over my head right now, and it’s driving me nuts that I can’t check any of them off my to-do list:
* Manage the class I’m TAing
* Summer grant proposal due Monday
* Taxes
* 2 Financial Aid Applications
* Start working on the Patient Assistance Programs with my community partner
* Run errands
And then there’s that whole “class” thing. It’d also be nice to be able to keep up with my exercise regimen and go on some dates. Aiya.
